Ministerial staff render their work, stewardship, relationships and behavior as evidence of being followers of Jesus Christ while embracing and affirming Mount Hermon Association, Inc.’s (“MHA”) mission, vision and beliefs.  They are responsible for defining, cultivating and leading MHA’s Christian community, conference programs, and retreats.   Position Objective:   The KC Cook position is responsible for directing kitchen operations at the assigned camp, including preparing, serving and storing food as directed by the Food Service Administrator in a safe and efficient manner consistent with MHA’s mission, vision and values.   Key Job Accountabilities: - Complete menu as provided and instructed by the Food Service Administrator. - Pull, prepare, serve and store food in accordance with food handling procedures to ensure safe, nutritious meals for camps’ enjoyment and to prevent food spoilage and/or foodborne illness. - Maintain accurate records of refrigerators’ and freezers’ temperatures to ensure compliance with food service specifications. - Conduct inventory as needed by the Food Service Administrator. - Clean ovens, grills and ventilation hood as required by Food Service Administrator to maintain sanitary standards. - Additional duties as assigned by supervisor. General Qualifications: The Facility and Vehicle Assistant is a Ministerial Support position. All members must apply separately for position. They are responsible for defining, cultivating and leading MHA's Christian community, conference programs and retreats.    Position Objective:   The KC WIT Lead/Counselor cares for and invests in the WITs and their program, spiritually and in their horsemanship skills, and assists in program and maintenance of all activities relating to the care of horses at the KC Ranch Camp to ensure that campers have a safe and engaging horsemanship experience in a manner consistent with MHA’s mission, vision and values.   Key Job Accountabilities:   - Live with and lead approximately 4-6 campers per 2-week session; lead small group Bible studies. - Seek out and connect with campers, guiding them spiritually through activities and curriculum. - Actively participate in all Wrangler in all WIT programs, serving in both counseling and assisting wrangling positions with enthusiasm. - Lead and ensure the safety and well-being of all campers and staff participating in the horsemanship programs, while keeping safety a priority at all times and enforcing rules and guidelines utilizing the corrective coaching guidelines and process. - Care for and maintain all horses and equipment, keeping logs as necessary. - Assist campers in the care of horses and equipment. - Promptly report any hazards or dangerous situations to the Wrangler Lead. - Assist in other program areas as needed; actively participate in and contribute to the broader program with enthusiasm. - Share in the responsibilities of keeping camp areas including cabins, living areas, workspaces and supplies clean and orderly. - Attend and engage in Ranch Camp campfires as well as all staff meetings and events. - Actively engage and help build the summer staff community with your attitude, words, and actions. - Ensure smooth execution of the program specifically by being on time, prepared, and willing to assist with immediate and/or unforeseen needs. - Perform other duties as assigned by supervisors.  Supervisory Responsibilities:   - None
