Overview

Summer Staff - Organized Camp

Position Objective:

 

Videographer works under the direction of the Marketing Team manager to video people and events capturing the ministry of the Conference Center Family Camps in a manner consistent with MHA’s mission, vision and values.

 

Key Job Accountabilities:           

  • Responsible to work with lead videographer to film, edit and produces weekly videos for Family Camps.
  • Responsible to catalog all video footage taken.
  • Responsible to work on promotional video for summer program.
  • Responsible for maintaining and keeping inventory of video camera and editing equipment and supplies.
  • Create graphic elements for website, emails, and presentations.
  • Accountable to provide evaluation and documentation of program.
  • Responsible to maintain a clean and sanitary work environment.
  • Perform any other duties as assigned by Supervisor.

Supervisory Responsibilities: 

 

  • None.

Qualifications

General Qualifications:

 

A mature follower of Jesus, still growing and developing in their faith. Fully in accord with Mount Hermon Association, Inc.’s (“MHA”) mission, vision, values and statement of beliefs. Committed to living these out personally, and instilling them in the organization. Of strong moral character and integrity.

 

Education/Certifications/Licenses:

 

  • High school graduate.
  • College experience. 

Work Experience:

 

  • Experience and aptitude in filming, editing, and encoding for delivery. 

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Ability to work alone as well as in a team.
  • Love for youth of all ages and families is essential.
  • Ability to provide creativity and artistic abilities within camp setting.
  • Excellent organizational skills required.
  • Must demonstrate initiative and ability to follow through with tasks.
  • Must be observant and attentive.
  • Ability to articulate gospel of Jesus Christ as communicated in Scripture.
  • Mature understanding and respect for authority and peers, as well as camp guidelines and principles.

Key Job Accountabilities

Physical Demands:

 

The physical environment requires the employee to work both inside and outside in heat/cold, wet/humid, and dry/arid conditions. Requires sitting, standing, squatting, stooping, twisting, and hiking.
